Please Remember that these are not large monuments like you see in a cemetery for people and are not made for a lot of lettering, there is not a lot of room especially for tribute lines. The idea is to say what you want in as few of words that you can. The small letters on a small stone or granite does not look good. Most people try to put to much lettering on 1 line. If you notice in a cemetery for people you will not see a lot of lettering on 90% of the monuments. A lot of small letters takes away from the beauty of the stone. We know it is important to get what you want but when you exceed the letter limit we have to start altering the lines in order to make the line fit on the stone the letter limit that we have allowed is really a few letters to much but will fit on the stone and sometimes is really close on the ends most of the time you can reword tribute lines and still have the same meaning. Please look at all of our examples, the lettering on these are balanced about as good as they can be. The lettering for the monument industry are presized letters and can not be altered in width. There are different sizes of letters and some are more narrow than others but when we have to use the smallest letters which is 5/8 inch tall then the sandblast lines become more narrow and sometimes are more difficult to read.
Please Remember the letter limit per line, The more letters you try to fit on 1 line, the smaller the letters will be and usually crowds the ends and takes away from the beauty of the stone. If you need 1 or 2 more letters than allowed we can usually add them. If you need more than 2 letters allowed please add an extra line. Our letters are presized and the width can not be altered. If you add a heart or paw print between dates instead of a dash, this will count as 3 or 4 spaces and spaces count as letters, this will fit with year dates only (example 1990 paw 2004, this will fit). This will not fit (example Sept. 18, 1990 paw May 12, 2003, or 12/23/94 heart 6/12/05, these examples will not fit on 1 line unless a 14"x9" or larger is ordered.) If you would like a heart or paw print we can add them for free but can only add them where there is space for them. If 1 line exceeds the letter limit by more than 2 letters your order might not be processed.

You are allowed 1 to 4 lines to enter your pets information. First line, your pets name. Second line, your pets dates. Third and forth line your personal message or epitaph. You may switch the information on any line depending on the way you want the information to read on your marker.There is a 10 to 25 letter limit on personal tribute or epitaph line depending on the size of marker.
